| The 3kW is a lightweight, sound-attenuated, tactical quiet generator set.Produces extremely clean electrical power using a PMG and sophisticated inverter. It is designed to operate at variable speeds. Conventional generators must operate at a constant speed to maintain frequency regardless of the load. DRS’s 3kW generator operates with an electronic governor, which carries the engine speed in direct proportion to the load. The result is low noise, fuel savings and longer engine life. Was designed to easy access for optimal maintainability.
